Google revolutionised the way we navigate the internet, giving us instant access to the information that we desire.

Now, they are set to change our everyday lives again…

…but this time, we don’t need to use our computers or Smartphone’s to take advantage.

In fact- this stunning invention needs nothing more than the words that you speak, and can be used anywhere.

Imagine being able to record a video of your child’s excited face as you bring him his birthday cake… (Yes- both of your hands are holding the cake.)

…Imagine how different travelling would be if you could translate foreign questions and answers into your language-on the spot…

…Imagine being able to tap into Google Maps to help you navigate crowded streets on foot, vast canyons whilst cycling, and steep mountains whilst your snowboarding.

All of this and more is possible with Google Glass.

What Is Google Glass?

Google glass looks and feels like a cool pair of glasses. But of course; it is so much more than that. The futuristic technology that we previously only thought existed in sci-fi films is becoming a part of our reality.

It’s a wearable computer with an optical head-mounted display. (OMHD) Developed by Google, it can feed you information gathered from the internet- based on the language voice commands that you give it.

Let’s take a more detailed look at some of the features.

Never Miss a Moment Worth Remembering

Simply say “okay Glass, start filming”, and your futuristic glasses will film whatever you are looking at. You can use them to take stunning pictures too, and you can then share the video or picture with whomever you want, completely hands free.

Ever Got Lost? That Won’t Happen Again

With a built in GPS chip and assistance from Google Maps, your glasses will help you find your way. You will never have to look down at your Smartphone or mess around with your Sat Nav when driving.

Communicate in Foreign Tongue- Without Knowing The Language

Simply ask your glasses to translate an entire conversation, and speak the language as if you know it. Translate the questions that you need to ask the locals whilst on a trip abroad, and then translate their responses.

Discover scenic places to visit, find the best places to go for a drink, and discover new things about the area that you are exploring…

…Google glass weighs a remarkable 8 pounds, is currently getting a make-over from top eyewear companies, and is rumoured to cost roughly $1,500.
